Camp Granna - Bring on the campers

On Monday, July 2, I met Britni in Greenville to pick up 2 of the campers for the week.  We ate at Cracker Barrel for lunch to kick off camp week. 

The grands and I headed back to Mt. Vernon and the first thing they wanted to do was swim.  They got Grandad to swim with them while I was doing things in the house. 

After swimming they enjoyed some Angry Birds gummies.  They weren’t bad and Olsen (our Lab) liked them as well.   J

Grandad, Chandler and Rainey worked on a puzzle while I cooked dinner. 

We had Angry Bird pizza.  They thought that was pretty cool.

At bedtime they picked out some books to read.  Chandler wanted to read Old Yeller during the week and watch the movie at the "drive in" on the last night. 

Camp Granna was off to a good start.
