Vacation continues - day 9 (Saturday-June12)

The ship docked early and we made sure we had everything together and then waited until they told us we could disembark. The yellow circle shows our balcony.

Robert's brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Lynn were picking us up once we got off the ship.

They live in Oregon and we were going to spend a couple of days with them. They started out with a flat tire so we had a short wait but it was nice to sit out in the cool breeze and drink a Coke!!!

Dale and Lynn took us through the Public Market in Seattle.

It was really neat and had everything you can imagine. There were all kinds of fresh seafood,

farm fresh vegetables,

crafts, flowers,

jewelry etc. I bought a Christmas ornament and Lynn and I got a chocolate croissant that was delicious!! Anything on a croissant is awesome.

Later we went to a sports grill to watch the United States vs. England soccer match and to eat lunch.

There were TVs everywhere in this place - even in the booths.

After lunch Dale and Lynn took us to the Space Needle. It is amazing and it is really high!!! YIKES!! We got some great pics from the top.

Then we headed to Oregon to Dale and Lynn's house.

Railroad tracks through the middle of town.

These pics were taken just across the river in Oregon.

Look at all the logs on the ground in this picture.

We got to Dale and Lynn's and she cooked an awesome stir fry for dinner. Then we headed to bed after a full day! It was so nice and cool and I slept in my flannel jammies!!
