We took a few days in June to visit Robert's family in El Campo.
His mother, niece, nephew live there and his sister, Cheryl and another niece live in the area. It was a nice little vacation.
Mimi has a huge sunflower growing in her garden.
The kids - big and little - enjoyed playing outside.
Cheryl's granddaughter was visiting for Camp Gam so Chandler and Rainey really had fun playing with Evy.
Game of tag???
They used Mimi's hedge as a hurdle. I know these are blurry but they were so cute jumping the hedges. I can remember as a kid hurdling hedges or fences or whatever. So fun!!
We had to convince Rainey to jump. She was a little scared at first but after that first jump she was hooked.
Enjoyed visiting with niece, Rebecca and her family, Lisa and family and Lance and family however I did not get any pictures of Lisa's or Lance's family.
Mimi made Root Beer and Dr. Pepper floats for the littles.
On Saturday we went to Goliad where Mimi and Cheryl have bought some family property and are building a barn/house. The kids had a great time playing, riding 4-wheelers and watching the deer come to the feeder.
Touring the property on the Gam Mobile and 4-wheelers.
Kinsler sees Uncle Travis on the tractor!!
Riding the Gam Mobile put 2 of the littles right to sleep!!!
We saw 4 deer come to the feeder in the late afternoon.
Some of the cutest little faces I've ever seen!!!
They played hard all day!!!!
This house in town was built by Joe Taylor who owned the property the Mimi and Cheryl purchased. The house was modeled after his childhood home, I believe. I'll have to check my facts.
The next day we had a little dress up session. These were dresses that Britni and Kylie used to play dress up with when they were little girls.
Sweet cousins!!
Tired baby girl.
On the way home we just had to make a trip through College Station!!!
It was a great trip and we are planning to go back soon!!
