Chuck, Britni, Chandler and Rainey came over Christmas
Eve. Kylie had to work Christmas Eve and
Christmas Day and would then head to Steven’s parents to spend Christmas
there. Grandad always reads “Twas’ the
Night Before Christmas” and inserts his own silly words and the kids get a kick
out of it. Then he reads the Christmas
story from the bible. This has been our
family tradition since our children were little and when they started having
their own children they wanted to continue this Christmas Eve ritual.
Chandler and Austin were having a hard time staying awake.
After the stories it was off to bed for the littles so Santa
could come.
Finally morning came and they rushed downstairs to see if
Santa had indeed found them at Grandad and Granna’s house.
Kinsler's very 1st Christmas morning!!
Chandler and Rainey were so excited and Kinsler was all
smiles.
Our traditional Christmas breakfast includes sausage balls,
monkey bread and orange Julius. We did
the sausage balls and monkey bread when Kylie and Steven were here the weekend
before so I thought I would do something a little different on Christmas
morning. Oh – we still had sausage balls
but I saw a cinnamon roll tree on Pinterest so I thought I would do that! Cute and easy. J
Christmas is so fun with little ones in the house. Their excitement is contagious!!
We sure did miss Steven, Kylie and Harrison!!!
Merry Christmas!!!
