We ate and visited for a while and then it was time to head to the airport. Our plane departed @ 4:25 p.m. headed for Salt Lake City, Utah where we would catch a connecting flight to DFW. Robert took this pic from the plane.
We got off at gate D and our connecting flight was at gate B which was miles away!! We were huffing and puffing to get there and they were already boarding. When we left Rainier it was so nice and cool. Robert and I both put on a long sleeve shirt under our t-shirts. It was warmer in Salt Lake and as soon as we got on the plane I texted Kylie and told her that we were about to take off. I also told her we would see them in Dallas and to please bring - that's right - a large coke from Sonic with extra ice!! Once the plane took off I went to the restroom to take off the long sleeved shirt. We arrived in Dallas about 11:30 p.m. and Kylie and Steven were there to pick us up - with the large Coke!! All I can say is -it is HOT in Texas!!
We had an amazing trip and made lots of memories!
