Girls' Weekend in Aggieland

Ever since the girls were in school at A&M, we have been attending Parents' Weekend in College Station.  When they were in school there, we attended events they were involved in such as a get together for the Class Councils that both girls were members of and we attended the Variety Show and the Maroon and White games (when they played in conjunction with Parents' Weekend).  After the girls graduated, Britni and I continued to go because we love to go to the Tent Sales and Aggie Moms' Boutique where you can find everything imaginable that is maroon/Aggie, our favorite eating places and we just enjoy being in Aggieland!!  After a few years we got Kylie on board to go with us and we have just made it our girls' weekend get away.

This year it was all girls except Kinsler joined us as well.  We headed down early Friday morning and went straight to campus.  We ate at the new Rev's American Grill in the Student Memorial Center.  We ran into some family there - my niece, Lisa who was visiting her daughter, Taylor who is a student at A&M this year.  And I didn't get pics since they were in the middle of their meal.

Next we headed upstairs to Aggie Moms' Boutique and shopped.  There are always lots of neat things at Boutique.  Then we walked around campus and the girls relived memories of their time there and we took lots of pictures.

Playing in the H2O Fountains.  These fountains are outside of the Chemistry building.
It is three pools, arranged together like the Oxygen atom and the Hydrogen atoms of a water molecule.

Ended the day with dinner at Freebirds!!!  Yum!!
Stayed the night in the home of a super nice couple.  So thankful for the accommodations and hospitality!!

On Saturday we started out the day with our favorite - Kolache Rolf's for breakfast.  Then we did some more shopping.  We hit up all of the Tent Sales and the Book Store and Aggieland Outfitters.
Had lunch at our favorite burger joint - Koppe Bridge.

Our annual pictures by the Aggie rings.  Kinsler was tired and wasn't really into the picture taking today!

More shopping and then got Double Dave's Pepperoni Pizza rolls for dinner as we headed out of town.  I had a great time just being with the girls and the grands!!

Until next year!!  Maybe we will let the guys tag along next year!!
