On Saturday, December 28th my sisters, brother and their families came to our house for the annual Rainey Christmas get together. We ate and visited and laughed a lot!!
We had two brand new family members in attendance. Ann is holding great-niece, Elise and Barbara is holding great-niece, Hadley.

Barbara saw a cake in a magazine and decided to try to make it for the get together. It was success but she said she would never do it again. It was a white chocolate icing covering red velvet and cheese cake layers. It was beautiful and delicious!!!
Steven got Chandler and Rainey to help rake leaves into a massive pile. Then they had a blast running and jumping into the pile or riding their bikes and scooters into the pile. Looks like fun!!
While the kids played outside, the grown ups visited - reminisced about the past, made up new stories, etc. :)
When family members started to leave they had to have a prop picture. Britni had found these at Hobby Lobby and decided we needed to use them today.

The holidays have been such a blessing getting to spend it with family! Nothing better than good food and precious family!!
