Chandler thought the carousel made of all chocolate was pretty cool and the chocolate doll house. Of course he wanted to touch them and even though the sign said do not touch, I thought it wouldn't hurt just to touch the chocolate grass. People shouldn't make stuff that can't be touched by inquisitive little ones!!
Before leaving I let Chandler pick anything he wanted from the array of chocolate confections and he chose a chocolate dipped Oreo and he thought it was wonderful.
We had one more stop to make before we got home - Kids' Kingdom. We stopped at the park for a picnic lunch and play time!!
We had a good time and Chandler was worn out from all the running and jumping and playing. We stopped by Sonic for a Hi-C Punch and headed home.

I am just now catching up on all the blogs...it looks like you had such a great time...I love Mary of Puddin Hill and I even touched the chocolate carousel myself...you are right, they should put in a glass case if they don't want you to touch it.
The Dairy Museum is great place to take the kids too....and I remember the museum in Mt. Vernon too all too well....Kim and I used to clean it every other week for probably two years. I hated it...the cleaning part I mean, not the museum....I think I actually broke something that was very expensive there....in their butterfly collection...not sure if they still have it.
I know the kids loved the time with you....that is so great!!!!

Mary of Puddin Hill is my favorite place!! I always go there during christmas time. Its become tradition at my house to have one of their pecan praline pies!
