Olsen (named after the Fightin' Texas Aggie baseball field - WHOOP!!) is Austin's 5 month old Lab puppy! Yes I said puppy but he is big! We got him after Austin's first lab, Rudy, died. That was a sad story indeed. But Olsen has been fun and has helped fill the void. Austin wrestles him around and has tried to sneak him in the house a time or two and pushes him in the swimming pool. Olsen has followed Chandler around all summer! Chandler sits on him, pulls his tail, bosses him around and Olsen just loves the attention. He really is a sweet dog even if my husband says he chews too much. Chandler heads out in the yard and says-come on Olsen and Olsen dutifully tags along.

I beleive dogs are truly man's best friend. Aaron loves his dog like he is his brother. When his first dog died, he grieved until we got Buster for him. And he and Buster are big buds!
Our boys are itching for a dog. They want a boxer like our babysitter has. I have to admit, Sadie is a cute dog, but I am partial to yellow labs! I think I may show the boys this post about Olsen and see if I can sway the vote!
