Blessings . . .

I haven't seen these babies all week and I am missing them!! Look at the eyes and tell me there is no mischief there!! :)

Chandler is so much fun! It is so neat to hear him reading everything!! He sounds out words everywhere - on signs and products in stores, etc. and it is amazing how quickly that happened. I can't believe his kindergarten year is almost over. He has learned so much and is such a sweet boy and he is ALL boy!!


The princess loves to be read to, loves taking care of her baby dolls and loves that cell phone. She is constantly jabbering. Sometimes it is real words and sometimes it is her own language and then she laughs like she has said something funny!!

They have both been such blessings!!

Who likes broccoli????

Well, I do if it is blond and blue-eyed. :) I went to see Chandler's little kindergarten music program on Thursday evening.


Yes - I drove an hour and 15 minutes each way to watch his class do one song. So what??? I didn't get a very good picture of the precious broccoli because he stood up and then sat down so quickly.


The program was about going to Grandpa's Farm and each class did something different. One of the classes was dressed as different animals. Another class did a song about chickens. Chandler's class was all about the vegetables. At the end of the program, they sang their school song - Bulldog Boogie. They have Bulldog Boogie every Friday morning and I think they really get into it!!


One of his friends mentioned going to Ci Ci's Pizza after the program and Chandler wasn't very happy because they weren't going.

The program was pretty cute and I am glad I went.

New Recipe

I was enjoying some chicken spaghetti that my sweet sister, Ann sent over the day before but Chandler wanted to fix his own lunch so here is a new quick and easy sandwich recipe that you might want to try the next time you are having trouble deciding what to fix for lunch. It is yummy!!



Umm umm good!!

Lions and tigers and bears - oh my...

Not really - just lots of birds and bugs and other night sounds. We (Chandler, Britni and I) slept in Chandler's tent last night in our backyard. Chandler thought it was pretty cool. Yes - we were roughing it. We popped up some popcorn and watched a movie on Granna's laptop while we slumbered on an air mattress. It was fun and it made my sweet grandson happy!! What more can I say!!

Multi-tasking

I had sent Chandler to the bathroom to get ready for his bath and he was playing with my old cell phone. This is how we found him, multi-tasking!! It was so funny I just had to share but I didn't want to be too risque so I used my computer skills (hee hee) to make it cartoonish.
