Easter 2012

We had a great Easter weekend with family celebrating  the resurrection of Jesus and remembering the sacrifice that was made on the cross!! 

The kids dyed some eggs . . .

and played outside.  The weather was so nice.  The kids wanted to get in the pool so badly but the water is still quiet chilly!!!

Chandler and Rainey love to get in the hamock and "swing."  :)

Before going to bed Chandler and Rainey "planted" some jelly beans to see if anything would grow. 

Wow - who knew??!!!  Plant jelly beans and get toostie pops!!

All dressed up for church.  We all had to get up early and the grown kids asked if we were going to the sunrise service.  Hee Hee!!

They have waited long enough.  Time to hunt the eggs!!!

 

My daddy made the wood cut-outs and I painted them.  I love to get them out each year.  Lots of special memories!!!
